The Iowa offense is happy to welcome back starting running back Kamari Moulton after he missed the past two games with a shoulder injury.

Moulton was injured on Iowa's first offensive drive in the opening game against Albany on August 30 and was finally able to return to the field.

The Iowa offense has been clicking over the past few weeks due to a balanced attack strategy.

Quarterback Mark Gronowski continues to improve each week as he has improved in the passing game and has been effectively using his legs to scramble and create more opportunities in the run game.

As the passing game has continued to improve, it has opened up holes for the rushing attack to take advantage.

With Moulton back in the lineup, the Iowa rushing attack has the opportunity to continue its solid play as the competition continues to ramp up.

During his postgame interview (posted by "247Sports"), Moulton stated he is happy to be back and missed playing "a whole bunch."

He siad he feels 100 percent, and it is only up from here.

Moulton had nothing but praise for Gronowski and the Iowa offense, stating that their bond is "getting stronger week by week.

He also noted that Gronowski's 52 wins give the rest of the group motivation to be great, and they want to keep stacking wins for him.

Moulton also noted that offense's confidence is growing, and they know they can be great if they want to be.

In his return to the lineup, Moulton led the Iowa backfield in rushing yards (68) and rushing attempts (14), and added a touchdown. If Iowa wants to continue growing its offense, Moulton will play a crucial role in the Iowa rushing attack.
