The transfer portal window for men's basketball is open, and the Hawkeyes have yet to make a signing through the early portion of the window.
Over 1,500 men's basketball players have entered their names into the portal, and Ben McCollum and company do not have a shortage of options.
After a run to the Elite 8 in year one with McCollum at the helm, Iowa is hungry to continue that success, and here are a few potential transfers that could be heading to Iowa City very soon.
Finley Bizjack, guard (Butler)

Transfer guard Finley Bizjack has been a name to watch during the early stages of the transfer portal window, with multiple programs connected to the former Butler Bulldog.
Iowa has reportedly also shown interest in Bizjack, with the potential fit with the program being obvious. McCollum and company need a replacement for Bennett Stirtz, and Bizjack can easily fill that role.
Bizjack had a down year shooting from beyond the arc last season after shooting 42.8 percent during the 2024-2025 season.
Bizjack has become a solid scorer, increasing his point averages every season, including a seven-point jump from 10 to 17, and can provide a veteran presence to whoever signs him.
Andrew McKeever, center (Saint Mary's)

We have talked at length about transfer center Andrew McKeever's fit with the Hawkeyes, and he is now popping up in rumors linking him to the program.
Standing at seven-foot-three, McKeever would give Iowa something they desperately need: interior defending nd rebounding.
This is not a knock on Cam Manyawu, but Iowa needs a player who can pull down rebounds at a higher rate and defend the paint against the multiple big bodies in the Big Ten.
McKeever led the WCC in rebounding, averaging 9.2 rebounds per game last season, and he immediately makes Iowa a much better team on the interior.
It will cost a lot to sign him, but Iowa needs to throw the bag at McKeever.
