Many Iowa football fans are still fuming over the loss to USC over the weekend.

After another heartbreaking loss, Iowa's slim College Football Playoff chances were eradicated as the Hawkeyes now have four losses this season.

The Hawkeyes shocked the world by jumping into the first official CFP Rankings ahead of their game against Oregon, but back-to-back losses have officially taken them out of the running.

Everything was going Iowa's way in the first half of the game against USC as they jumped out to an early 14-0 lead after one quarter.

Iowa added another score in the second quarter on a trick play and took a 21-10 lead into the half. In the second half, everything fell apart.

The USC offense woke up and got whatever it wanted, and the Hawkeyes could not move the ball on offense throughout the half.

The Hawkeyes were outscored 16-0 in the second half, sealing the victory for the Trojans, but were they aided by some horrible officiating? Some video from the game seems to suggest just that.

CBS Sports' Chris Hassel posted a video that shows a blatant grab of running back Kamari Moulton's facemask, but a flag was not thrown.

Instead of first down inside USC territory, the Hawkeyes had to throw the ball on third and long, which ultimately ended in a Mark Gronowski interception after his pass ricocheted off Jacob Gill's foot.

After that initial no-call, the refs missed ANOTHER obvious facemask on Moulton once again.

The officiating was so poor that even Iowa Head Coach Kirk Ferentz stated in his postgame press conference that he thought multiple calls could have gone the other way.

Ferentz usually does not get involved in trashing or questioning the refs. However, after seeing the damning video and hearing Ferentz's comments, we have to question what the officiating crew was looking at.

Does Iowa have a case to be upset at the officiating? It sure looks that way.
