Lucy Olsen is no stranger to receiving awards. The Iowa Women's Basketball senior guard continues to fill her trophy case in her first season in Iowa City.

"Big Lu" adds another award after being honored with a First Team All-Big Ten selection during the regular season.

Olsen transferred to Iowa after her junior season at Villanova. During that season, she was third in the NCAA in scoring (23.3) behind Caitlin Clark and JuJu Watkins. Her transfer status was up in the air, but she honored her commitment to the Hawkeyes.

Olsen led the Hawkeyes in points per game (18.0) and assists per game (4.9) during the regular season and continued her stellar play in the post season.

Iowa entered the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament as an 11-seed and attempted to be the first program to win four straight tournament titles. The Hawkeyes ultimately fell short in the quarterfinals after winning three consecutive games.

Olsen led the way for the Hawkeyes during the tournament, pacing them in points per game (18.0) and assists per game (6.3) on her way to making the All-Tournament Team. She was joined by JuJu Watkins (USC), Kiki Iriafen (USC), Lauren Betts (UCLA), and Syla Swords (Michigan) on the All-Tournament team.

The Iowa Women's Basketball team is awaiting their NCAA Tournament bid. The selection show will occur on Sunday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. Central Time. The First Four matchups will occur on March 19-20, and the first round begins on March 21.

The Hawkeyes are currently projected as a six-seed going into Selection Sunday.
