Jan Jensen has had a historic two years at the helm of the Hawkeyes.
After replacing legendary former head coach Lisa Bluder, Jensen has racked up 49 wins and counting, setting a new Iowa program record.
There have been a few bumps and bruises along the way, but Jensen has tried to stay positive, especially after Iowa's recent debacle against UCLA.
The Hawkeyes were run out of the gym in a massive 51-point blowout loss to the Bruins in the Big Ten Championship game, but Jensen had some words for those who are looking to put a negative spin on the loss.
Jensen is taking a glass-half-full approach after a bad loss
Iowa has an extremely young team this season, and is doing things in Jensen's second year that no one thought they would.
While a big loss on a national stage always looks bad, Jensen is not going to let it get her or the team down.
Jan Jensen says they need a glass half full point of view.

I like this quote: "Disappointments and setbacks make losers bitter but they make winners better." pic.twitter.com/B7fm5jDjfa
The Hawkeyes definitely did not bring their A-game against UCLA, shooting 28 percent from the field and 22 percent from three-point range, also turning the ball over 19 times, but Jensen is looking at it much more positively.
In her postgame comments, Jensen stated that disappointments and setbacks make losers bitter, but make they make winners better.
She also followed that statement by saying the squad has done a lot of things no one thought it would, and she is not going to look at it negatively.
Jensen has been coaching for a long time and knows what it takes to be successful. She isn't going to let one bad loss turn into multiple by taking a negative approach.
