Jan Jensen is in hot pursuit of a three-level scorer to jumpstart the 2029 class

Jan Jensen and the Iowa women's basketball program have been extremely active on the recruiting trail with a heavy focus on the 2029 class.

Iowa recently learned that they made the final cut for two top prospects in the 2027 recruiting class, including Sienna Williams (No. 64 overall) and Nation Williams (No. 10 overall). With the 2027 class rounding into form, the Hawkeyes have shifted to the 2029 class, handing out multiple offers to some of the best players in the class. The program has had a clear recruiting focus, and that continued with another offer to a top prospect.

Iowa offered intriguing 2029 SG/SF prospect Paisley Hogan

The program has been aggressively pursuing some of the top talent in the 2029 class, including Kristen Williams, the current No. 1 overall prospect in the class. The future is now for the Hawkeyes, making multiple offers in the class, and that trend continued with an offer to a sweet-shooting Arkansas prospect.

Versatile 2029 shooting guard/small forward prospect Paisley Hogan announced on Instagram that she received an offer from the Hawkeyes after speaking with assistant coach Lasondra Barrett. After joining the Hawkeyes from Georgia Tech, Barrett continues to be an extremely valuable asset on the recruiting trail, especially in the south. Hogan currently plays for Fort Smith Northside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and the Arkansas Banshees in the UAA. Prep Girls Hoops currently ranks Hogan as Arkansas' No. 2 prospect, as well as one of the top 75 players in the class.

Hogan has a very similar skill set to current Hawkeye McKenna Woliczko, with her ability to score at all three levels and pass the ball extremely well. She can finish at the rim with both hands and has the ability to get her own shot from anywhere with her handles. Hogan has a smooth jump shot with good touch. She also excels on the defensive end, racking up blocked shots and rebounds with her length and leaping ability. Hogan has already racked up multiple offers, and it's easy to see why.

She is a solid two-way player who plays extremely hard on defense and dominates on offense, which would give the Hawkeyes another versatile guard-forward hybrid to pair with Woliczko. A Hogan/Wolicazko pairing is a dream scenario for the Hawkeyes, giving them two similar players who can do a little bit of everything on the court. If she decides to move north to Iowa City, good luck to any team that has to defend her and Woliczko all game.

Pasiley's nickname is "PayDay," most likely due to all the dimes she dishes out and all the buckets she cashes in, and the Hawkeyes would get a massive jumpstart in the class if she decides to commit.
