After finishing the 2024-2025 season with a 23-11 (10-8 Big Ten) record, Iowa Women's Basketball continues to prepare for its second season under Head Coach Jan Jensen. Jensen guided the Hawkeyes to their seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament last season.

During the offseason, the Hawkeyes schedule for the upcoming season is falling into place. At the end of April, Iowa learned their Big Ten Conference schedule for the 2025-2026 season.

Iowa will play all 18 teams once, and it will play a home and away game against rival Nebraska. It has a tough road schedule, traveling to UCLA, USC, Indiana, and Maryland for away games.

The Hawkeyes also announced they will play in the WBCA Showcase tournament from November 20 to 24 at the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Over the weekend, HawkeyeReport (part of the On3 Sports network) submitted an open records request to find out the other games on Iowa's non-conference schedule.

The Hawkes will host Drake, Fairfield, Lindenwood, and Western Illinois, and will travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to play Northern Iowa.

The Hawkeyes have not played Western Illinois since 2020, and it will be their first ever games against Fairfield and Lindenwood.

Fairfield is a dominating team in the MAAC and has gone 59-7 over the past two seasons, including a 27-5 (19-1 MAAC) record last season. Last year, Fairfield made the NCAA Tournament field but lost in the first round to Kansas State. The Hawkeyes host Fairfield on November 30.

Lindenwood became a Division I program for the 2022 season and finished 22-11 (16-4 OVC) last season. They were invited to the WNIT and made a Sweet Sixteen appearance. Iowa hosts Lindenwood on December 13.

The Hawkeyes have added some intriguing opponents to their non-conference schedule for the 2025-2026 season and aim to succeed in the second year under Jensen.
