At this point in Jan Jensen's storied coaching career, if you are a big, why wouldn't you want to play for the Hawkeyes?

Jensen is known for bucking the trend in college basketball that favors a high volume of three-point shots in favor of a high number of paint touches and a reliance on stellar post play.

That strategy has come to fruition this season with the emergence of star sophomore center Ava Heiden, which has allowed Hannah Stuelke to move to her more natural power forward position.

Heiden showcased the full width of her improvement in the win over Michigan, racking up her third straight double-double, and it was in front of multiple top recruits.

One of those talented recruits, and one of the top power forward prospects in the 2028 recruiting class picked up an offer shortly Iowa handled Michigan.

2028 PF prospect Logan Miller added an offer from the Hawkeyes

Iowa hosted nine talented prospects during the game against Michigan, including a 2028 top-five prospect, Logan Miller.

Miller, a Minnesota native, was in attendance for Iowa's victory over Michigan, and what an impression that must've made on the potential future Hawkeye.

Miller added an offer shortly after, furthering proving how much Jensen values good post players.

According to Hawkeyes Wire, during her freshman season (2024-2025), Miller averaged 18.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, and 1.7 steals per game for Andover High School.

She was also named a Class 4A Northwest Suburban All-Conference selection.

It is still very early in the recruiting process for the 2028 recruiting class, but Prep Girls Hoops has ranked Miller as Minnesota's No. 5 overall prospect and the No. 2 power forward prospect in the class.
