Iowa fans are overjoyed after the Hawkeyes' dominating win against Murray State

A balanced offensive attack guided the Iowa Hawkeyes Women's Basketball team to a dominating 92-57 round-one win in the NCAA Tournament. Twelve of Iowa's 13 players scored a basket in the victory.

Iowa dominated in the paint and forced Murray State into tough, contested shots on the other end. The Hawkeyes shut down Murray State's high-powered offense and held them to under 40 percent shooting from the field and under 20 percent from three-point range.

The Hawkeyes could not be happier after their first NCAA Tournament win in the post-Caitlin Clark era.

It was all smiles for the Iowa Hawkeyes after dominating Murray State from start to finish. Iowa fans travel well and expressed their happiness on social media.

Iowa fans are as pleased as the players after the round-one win. Iowa junior Hannah Stuelke was a big part of the win, and the fans took notice.

The Hawkeyes got great performances across the roster. Senior leaders Sydney Affolter and Lucy Olsen played crucial roles, but the freshman showed out in the win.

Ava Heiden had 15 points to lead the Hawkeyes in scoring, and Taylor Stremlow had the first double-digit scoring game of her career with 10 points. The freshmen were fabulous!

The Hawkeyes went 7-3 in their previous 10 games and came into their first-round matchup on a hot streak. Iowa came out strong early against the Racers and never looked back.

This is the kind of hype I love to see! Iowa fans go all out supporting their team, and make their love known to whoever will listen. "Favorite team EVER" is high praise from this Iowa fan.

It was a great game by every Hawkeye on the squad. Iowa received contributions from different sources and used a balanced attack to overwhelm Murray State.

The six-seed Iowa Hawkeyes take on the three-seed Oklahoma Sooners in a home game for the Sooners in Norman, Oklahoma. The time and television broadcast has not been announced.

UPDATE: The Hawkeyes will battle the Sooners on Monday, March 24, at 3:00 p.m. Central Time. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
