All eyes are on the 2025 ReliaQuest Bowl, where No. 23 Iowa faces No. 14 Vanderbilt in a battle between the Big Ten and the SEC.
Before the Hawkeyes head to Tampa to battle Heisman runner-up Diego Pavia and the Commodores, the coaching staff has been hitting the recruiting trail.
Last week, the Hawkeyes got their 2027 recruiting class started with a bang after earning the verbal commitment from in-state linebacker Gavin Stecker.
After Stecker's commitment, the Hawkeyes have continued their attempts to bolster their 2027 class by offering two running backs and a cornerback prospect.
As the program continues its aggressive pursuit of some of the top prospects in the 2027 class, it got great news from another in-state athlete in the class.

2027 linebacker/quarterback prospect Braylon Bingham announced he is committing to the Hawkeyes.
Bingham, a life-long Iowa fan from Pleasantville, Iowa, chose the Iowa program over offers from Iowa State, Northwestern, and Wisconsin.
Iowa is looking at Bingham as a linebacker, and he had a productive season for the Trojans' defense this year.
During his junior year, Bingham tallied 60.5 total tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss.
Bingham also excelled on the diamond, compiling a 0.56 ERA as a pitcher and a 1.365 OPS as a hitter as Pleasantville won a state title in baseball.
Bingham has not been heavily recruited, but his athleticism will give defensive coordinator Phil Parker a weapon in the center of the Iowa defense.
Bingham not only became the second player to commit to the Hawkeyes in the 2027 recruiting class but also became the second linebacker in the class to commit verbally.
