To say the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Nebraska Cornhuskers don't like each other might be an understatement.

The two states share a border and have been rivals since the first game in 1891. The programs have not played every season since then, including a 33-year hiatus from 1946 to 1979 and an 11-year hiatus from 2000 to 2011.

Since the Cornhuskers joined the Big Ten Conference in 2011, the two programs have met every season.

The rivalry game between the two programs usually wraps up the regular season, and has become one of the more heated rivalries in recent seasons.

The Hawkeyes (7-4, 5-3 Big Ten) are coming off a gutsy 20-17 win over Michigan State, where they had to overcome a 10-point second-half deficit to win.

The Cornhuskers (7-4, 4-4 Big Ten) were annihilated in State College, PA, last weekend, losing 37-10 to Penn State, and are looking to get back on track at home this weekend.
