Former Iowa Hawkeye Cooper DeJean has been spending a lot of time in Iowa following his rookie season with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Odebolt, Iowa, native returned to Iowa for a celebrity charity softball game at Principal Park in Des Moines, Iowa.
The game featured multiple current NFL players, including former Hawkeyes Riley Moss, CJ Beathard, and Jay Higgins.
DeJean was also part of a viral video on the basketball court with some of his Eagles teammates. In the video, running back Saquon Barkley threw a between-the-legs lob to DeJean, who threw down a dunk with authority.
After showing he could still play basketball, DeJean visited Iowa City to participate in a scrimmage with the men's basketball team.
While most Iowa fans know about DeJean's ridiculous athleticism, most do not know that Head Coach Ben McCollum can ball!

DeJean was a star basketball player for OABCIG High School and showed off multiple spectacular dunks in a scrimmage against McCollum and the new-look Iowa Men's Basketball team. What was surprising was McCollum's handles and shooting stroke.
They say shooters never forget how to shoot, and McCollum showed that in the video posted by the Iowa Men's Hoops social media team. He nailed a three-point field goal and celebrated by holding up a three symbol.
McCollum also stole the ball from DeJean and crossed him over on his way to the basket. After getting crossed by McCollum, DeJean recovered and blocked his shot, but it was an impressive move.
McCollum showed that his playing days are not as far behind him as we thought. He put on an impressive display in the scrimmage against DeJean and some of his players.
