Iowa Women's Wrestling finished the 2024-2025 season as National Champions, the program's second consecutive national championship.
The Hawkeyes crowned three individual champions, including Macey Kilty (145 pounds), Kennedy Blades (160 pounds), and Kylie Welker (180 pounds).
In addition to crowning three individual champions, all 15 wrestlers were named All-Americans.
Iowa entered the 2024-2025 team ranked No. 1, never relinquished that ranking, and finished the season with a perfect 19-0 record.
Since Clarissa Chun was named Head Coach in 2021, the expectations for the Iowa Women's Wrestling program have been sky-high.
The University of Iowa announced it was adding a collegiate women's wrestling program, becoming the first Power Five program to offer the sport.
In two seasons since the inaugural season in 2023-2024, the Hawkeyes have not lost a dual meet and have won two straight National Titles.
As the program's success continues, it continues to attract talented prospects. This week, Iowa flipped an in-state prospect from Northern Iowa who initially committed to Track and Field.

Welcome to Iowa, Libby!#Hawkeyes pic.twitter.com/kjATmzu36K
Libby Dix, a Mount Vernon, Iowa native, flipped her commitment from Northern Iowa to Iowa and changed sports.
Dix was a multi-sport athlete in high school, winning the state discus title in 2025 and winning the 2024 and 2025 state wrestling titles at 190 pounds.
She initially committed to Northern Iowa for Track and Field, but decided to change her commitment to the University of Iowa to be on the wrestling squad.
Dix is nationally ranked No. 6 at 190 pounds and is a great pickup for Clarissa Chun and the Iowa Women's Wrestling team.
