After trouncing rival Wisconsin 81-66 on Sunday during senior night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the Iowa Hawkeye Women's basketball team immediately turned their attention to the Big Ten Tournament. After losing five of eight games in January, the Hawkeyes finished strong, winning eight of their last 10 games to finish the season.
The Hawkeyes finished the season 20-9 and are an 11 seed in the Big 10 Tournament. They won the previous two conference tournaments and will look to start their journey again in the first round.

The 2025 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament is a five-day event that runs from March 5-9 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The top nine seeds in the tournament receive a bye in the first round, with the top four seeds earning double byes.
The bottom three teams after the regular season will not be playing in the tournament.
The first game of round one will begin on March 5 at 2:30 p.m. Central Time, with games two and three following 25 minutes after each game concludes.

All 14 games of this year's tournament will be broadcast or streamed live for fans. The first round, starting March 5, will be streamed on Peacock. The second round through the quarter-finals, on March 6 through 8, will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network. The championship game, on March 9, will be broadcast on CBS.

The Iowa Women's Basketball team takes to the court on day one of the tournament, and will have to win five straight games to make the Championship game. They begin tournament play in round one against 14-seed Wisconsin. They have beaten Wisconsin in 30 straight games, dating back to February 2007.
The Hawkeye women have a tough road ahead, but they have proven they can string wins together at important times. They ended the season hot, and will look to carry that momentum into the tournament.
