It was all smiles and hugs as the Iowa Women's Basketball program had an emotional senior sendoff at home in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes finished the regular season with an 81-66 win against rival Wisconsin, a fitting way to say goodbye to this group of seniors.

This senior class of Lucy Olsen (transfer from Villanova), AJ Ediger, Addison O'Grady, Sydney Affolter, and Kylie Feuerbach was special. In Coach Jan Jensen's first season, these senior leaders led them to a 20-9 regular season record, the program's 20th straight season with 20-plus wins.

These seniors (excluding Lucy Olsen, who transferred to Iowa this year) were part of two straight Final Four and NCAA title game appearances (2023-2024), three straight Big 10 Tournament titles (2022-2024), and over 100 wins.

Superstar Caitlin Clark was a big part of the recent success, but what these seniors accomplished over their four years at Iowa cannot be underestimated. Their success on the court and as ambassadors for the program have led to Iowa being a hub for women's basketball.

The Hawkeye women finished the regular season in ninth place in the Big 10 standings, and wait to participate in the Big 10 Tournament on March 5-9 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
