The University of Iowa Athletics Department sent a 5.8 million dollar proposal to the State of Iowa Board of Regents to make more renovations to Duane Banks Field, home to the Iowa Baseball team.

The project would reconstruct the press box and add new seating. A new seating bowl would be added between the two main fan entrances and metal bleacher seating would be added to the main grandstand area.

The new press box would be added atop the seating bowl.

If the project is approved, construction is slated to start in the summer of 2026.
