While the Iowa Hawkeyes ultimately lost to USC last weekend in Los Angeles, the outcome has many fans questioning how the game was officiated.

Iowa (6-4, 4-3 Big Ten) entered the game against USC with a slim chance to make the College Football Playoff (CFP) with a win over the Trojans. The Hawkeyes had a dynamic first half, followed by a poor second half, ultimately losing 26-21 to USC.

After the loss, all of Iowa's CFP hopes were crushed, leaving the Hawkeyes on the outside looking in for another year.

While multiple factors contributed to Iowa's loss over the weekend, multiple Hawkeyes fans are not satisfied with how the game was officiated.

Multiple videos show blatant facemasks on running back Kamari Moulton that were not called, not to mention some other questionable calls down the stretch.

Hawkeye fans are livid with the officiating crew, taking to social media to voice their displeasure.

Hawkeye insider Eliot Clough posted a blind referee GIF after re-watching the Iowa-USC game in response to the questionable calls.

Another fan suggested that the "blatant" missed call on one of the facemasks loomed pretty large.

This Hawkeye fan went as far as to say that a fix was in after multiple blatant no-calls occurred throughout the game.

Another Hawkeye fan called the refs incompetent after missing a call where Moulton's head and body were turned around as a result of the defender pulling his facemask.

This Hawkeye fan could not believe a flag was not thrown on one of the two missed facemask calls on Moulton, posting "THROW A FLAG WTF" in all caps.

Iowa fans are not happy after the Hawkeyes' chance to make the CFP was eliminated after the squad's 4th loss of the season, and are livid with how poorly the refs called the game against USC on Saturday.
