The college basketball season is right around the corner, and there has been no rest for star forward Hannah Stuelke.

Stuelke helped guide the Iowa Women's Basketball program to a 23-11 (10-8 Big Ten) record last season during Jan Jensen's first year as head coach, and she had another solid season.

She was named an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention after averaging 12.7 points per game and a team-leading 7.7 rebounds per game last season.

During the summer, she was also invited to join Team USA for the 2025 FIBA Women's AmeriCup that took place in Chile. Stuelke was a valuable player off the bench averaging close to six points and five rebounds per game.

After returning stateside, she has continue to diligently work on her game, including adding a more consistent three-point shot.

During the 2025 Big Ten Women's Basketball Media Days in Chicago, Stuelke stated that the process is going great, and it has been really exciting so far.

She also stated that as a forward, having an extended shooting range is very important so that teams will not back off from her, as they have done in the past.

Stuelke also mentioned that she has worked extensively on the mental side of shooting long-range shots this summer, and as a result, she has become more confident in her ability.

When asked about her expectations for next season, Stuelke stated that she is excited for the tough schedule because it will help the team mature and grow more quickly.

She also loves the frontcourt group they have, and she is excited to display their versatility next season.
