A month after being offered a scholarship by the Iowa Men's Basketball program, Washington's top prospect has narrowed down his list to four schools.

Iowa Men's Basketball Head Coach Ben McCollum and his staff continue recruiting for the 2026 class and beyond to rebuild the program.

After McCollum took over for long-time head coach Fran McCaffery, he has been diligently building connections and offering scholarships to top future prospects.

It is still early in the 2026 recruiting cycle, but the Hawkeyes received some good news regarding a recent offer they made.

Select Basketball announced that versatile forward prospect Ethan Harris has narrowed his list of preferred destinations to four, with Iowa making the final list.

Harris received an offer from the Iowa program in over the summer and has placed them on his final list alongside Washington, Gonzaga, and Boise State.

Harris currently plays for Camas High School in Camas, Washington, and had a stellar junior season last year for the Papermakers.

He averaged 18.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game last season, and he was also a key contributor for Select Basketball, averaging 10.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

Harris was initially drawn to the Hawkeye program during his official visit at the end of July because the coaching staff views him as a hybrid forward, which perfectly described his skillset.

The versatile, six-foot-eight, forward prospect is ranked as Washington's No.1 recruit by both Rivals and 247 Sports, and would be a perfect fit for McCollum's system.
