It's Hannah Stuelke time!
The senior forward from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has paid her dues, and is finally the unquestioned leader of the Iowa Women's Basketball squad.
She began her career as primarily a bench player, with Monika Czinano dominating most of the minutes in the paint.
During her first season in Iowa City (2022-2023), Stuelke played in all 37 games, averaging 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game.
After Czinano moved on to the WNBA, Stuelke was inserted into the starting lineup and formed a great pick-and-roll duo with superstar Caitlin Clark.
Stuelke had her best season as a Hawkeye to this point as she put up career-highs in points (14.0) and shooting percentage (62 percent) as the Hawkeyes went to the National Championship game.
She took a step back in point production last season (12.7), mainly due to the emergence of Lucy Olsen.
Now in her senior year, it's Hannah's time to shine, and she is receiving recognition ahead of her final year in Iowa City.

Stuelke was named to the Naismith Trophy watchlist, which is presented annually to the best player in women's college basketball.
Not only was she added to the Naismith Trophy Watchlist, but she was also named to the Power Forward of the Year Watchlist on the same day.

After moving back to her more natural power forward position this year, with Ava Heiden and Layla Hays occupying the center spot, Stuelke was named to the Katrina McClain Power Forward of the Year Watchlist.
Hannah is poised for a breakout season this year as the leader of a young Hawkeyes squad, and if she continues to expand her shooting range while maintaining her dominance in the paint, she will be hard to guard.
