Iowa Football has a rare television double-dip on Saturday afternoon for a pivotal matchup against No. 9 Oregon.
The "Big Noon Kickoff" crew has been in Iowa City promoting Fox's pregame coverage of the matchup, but the game itself is the featured college football game at 2:30 p.m. Central Time on CBS.
Before the game kicks off on CBS, the "Big Noon Kickoff" crew has been making the rounds in Iowa City, including hosting multiple events at the Old Capitol building, located in the center of the University of Iowa campus, and attending the Iowa-Western Illinois Men's Basketball game on Friday night.
One of the members of the crew, Mark Ingram, was the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner and has vivid memories of his time as a highly-touted recruit in the 2008 class, including memories of Iowa City.

Says Iowa was "his number one spot" before eventually picking Alabama.@DavidEickholt with the KF question. pic.twitter.com/IL04GSJrXj
Before committing to Alabama and having a stellar college football career, Ingram was a Hawkeye Football recruit before ultimately deciding to head to Tuscaloosa.
He remembers making an official visit to Iowa City and has nothing but respect for Iowa Head Coach Kirk Ferentz.
Ingram also mentioned that Iowa was his "number one spot" before deciding to play football for the Crimson Tide.
During his three-year career with Alabama (2008-2010), Ingram tallied 3,261 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns before the New Orleans Saints drafted him with the 28th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
The Hawkeyes missed out on Ingram, but it is good to hear that he has positive memories of his time in Iowa City.
