Iowa Football is coming off their second and final bye week with high expectations for the final four-game stretch of the season.

All three phases were clicking for the Hawkeyes before the bye week, and long-time defensive coordinator Phil Parker wishes they could have kept playing instead of taking a week off.

During the first half of of the college football season, Iowa started off slow, going 3-2 in their first five games.

After the loss to Indiana, the Hawkeyes have hit the gas pedal, winning three consecutive games and pushing their record to 6-2 (4-1 Big Ten).

Iowa firmly sits in the Big Ten title picture and controls its own destiny for the College Football Playoff.

Iowa wraps up the regular season with games against No. 6 Oregon, No. 20 USC, Michigan State, and Nebraska, with a pivotal matchup against Oregon at home this weekend.

Before Iowa and Oregon battle at Kinnick Stadium next Saturday, we have learned that the game will be featured on two major networks before and during the game.

The "Big Noon Kickoff" crew will be in Iowa City for the Iowa-Oregon matchup on Saturday, with coverage beginning at 9:00 a.m. Central Time.

However, in a rare double-dip, the actual Iowa-Oregon game will not be on Fox, but will shift to CBS.

Iowa against Oregon will be featured as CBS Sports' college football game of the week, and the kickoff for the game is set for 2:30 p.m. Central Time from Kinnick Stadium.

If the Hawkeyes want to keep their Big Ten title game and CFP hopes alive, they must slow down a potent Oregon Ducks' rushing attack.

Oregon ranks No. 9 in rushing yards per game (237.0) and total offense (483.9 yards per game), while also ranking No. 5 in points per game (41.2).

Iowa's defense has been solid all season, but it is critical that it slows down Oregon's rushing attack to have a chance in this game.
