Even without Caitlin Clark, Hawkeye fans continue to support Iowa Women's Basketball.

Clark was a generational talent who had crowds lined up around the block to see her when she played for the University of Iowa.

Before her first season on campus, the Iowa program was fortunate enough to have superstar Megan Gustafson attracting fans to Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and the team averaged 7,102 fans per home game during her final season on campus (2019-2020).

During Clark's first season with the program (2020-2021), the COVID-19 pandemic did not allow fans to enter the building, but word had already spread about the local Iowa superstar who was shooting logo threes at Carver.

Attendance numbers increased throughout Clark's time in Iowa City, rising from an average of 8,222 fans her sophomore year (2021-2022), when fans were allowed back into Carver, to an average of 14,914 fans during her senior year (2023-2024).

Not only has attendance not fallen off since the Indiana Fever drafted Clark No. 1 overall in 2024, but Carver-Hawkeye Arena continues to sell out.

Thee years after Clark's departure, season tickets for Iowa Women's Basketball have sold out once again.

For the third consecutive season, season tickets have sold out as fans continue their strong support of Iowa Women's Basketball.

Iowa also boasts the longest home sellout streak in the nation, with 35 straight home sellouts, and has been ranked in the top 10 nationally for attendance for the past six seasons.

Student tickets for winter sports will go on sale on Tuesday, October 7, with the announcement for single-ticket purchases to follow at a later date.
