The Hawkeyes finally put together a complete game in their dominating 41-3 win over rival Minnesota.
Iowa elected to start the game receiving the opening kickoff, and it immediately paid off.
The Hawkeyes took the ball down the field and scored on a Mark Gronowski run after putting together a nine-play, five-minute drive to start the game off with a bang.
After the Iowa defense forced Minnesota to punt on its first drive and the offense added another field goal, the defense put more points on the board.
Defensive back Zach Lutmer intercepted a Drake Lindsay pass and returned it for a touchdown, capping off another great series by the Iowa defense.

Lutmer, a sophomore from Rock Rapids, Iowa, was lightly recruited out of high school, and his only FBS offer was from the Hawkeyes.
Now, he is making the most of his opportunities as he continues to be one of the biggest and best surprises for the Iowa defense.
After Saturday's win, Lutmer stated he "zoned out" during the interception, but credited his teammates for blocking and the coaches for studying Minnesota's play on film.
During his brief postgame media availability (posted by "The Hawkeye Report"), Lutmer stated that the defense studied the play he got the pick-six on, because the coaches had it on film.
The tight end wheel route is something Minnesota has used in previous games this season, and the Hawkeye defense defended it to perfection.
Even though Lutmer "zoned out" during the interception and touchdown, he credited his teammates for doing a great job blocking, as he only had to make one guy miss.
Lutmer was not the only Rock Rapids native to score during the game, as his teammate and friend Reece Vander Zee was also able to find the end zone on a beautiful 29-yard pass from quarterback Mark Gronowski.
Lutmer stated that he never would have believed they would both score a touchdown in the same game, but was extremely excited for his best friend and teammate.
Lutmer capped his availability by stating that their goal is to win every game. They have stumbled at times this season, but being bowl-eligible has taken some pressure off their back.
