The Iowa Hawkeyes had an average 2024 season, but they were able to run the ball effectively throughout the year. Kaleb Johnson was a stud in the backfield, but that would not have been possible without a good offensive line. The success of the running game was anchored by Connor Colby.
The 6-foot, 6-inch, 310-pound Colby was a force for the Iowa offensive line last season and proved why he should be considered one of the top offensive linemen in this draft. He backed that up with an excellent Combine performance.
The big man ran an impressive 5.11-second 40-yard dash and an equally impressive 4.63-second 20-yard shuttle run. He impressed scouts with his footwork and athleticism throughout the workouts, and finished the day ranking very highly.
Connor Colby is a OG prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.66 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 55 out of 1583 OG from 1987 to 2025.

His unofficial athletic score after his performance shows just how impressive he was on the day. He stacks up with some of the best offensive linemen in this draft class, and proved why he should shoot up draft boards.
Not only did he rock it on the field, but he rocked the Robert Galley-style mullet as well, leading to an impressive showing.

Colby will look to carry his momentum into his pro day, and the 2025 NFL Draft in April.
