Despite all the negativity surrounding the recent Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky game, thanks to a disgraced former NBA player, it didn't take away from Caitlin Clark's latest unthinkable achievement.
Whenever someone utters the phrase, "the fastest in WNBA history," most people know they are talking about Caitlin Clark. The former Hawkeye superstar is considered one of the best basketball players on the planet, and she continues to show that this season. Now fully healthy, Clark is obliterating WNBA and Indiana franchise records, and her latest achievement proves that she isn't slowing down any time soon.
Clark is the only player in WNBA history to notch a rare stat line
We all know about Clark's elite scoring ability, and when she is on, no one can stop her. She hasn't been as lethal from beyond the arc as she was in college, but she is still one of the deadliest shooters in the WNBA. The most unheralded part of Clark's game is her passing ability, and while some fans incorrectly point to her turnover numbers when describing why she isn't elite, she put that argument to bed during a recent game against the Chicago Sky.
HER.

Caitlin Clark has FIVE career games with 30+ PTS and 10+ AST, more than the rest of the WNBA has combined in league history (4) 😤 pic.twitter.com/U3AT4UIdWP
Following Clark's 37-point, 10-assist explosion during Indiana's 113-90 win over the Chicago Sky last weekend, Clark achieved another mind-blowing record. After her performance, she notched her fifth career 30-plus-point, 10-plus-assist stat line, which is more than the entire league COMBINED has in WNBA history. It's a wild achievement to think about, and if she can do that coming off an injury-plagued 2025 season, imagine what can happen after this season when she is fully healthy and locked in.
Don't show this post to Clark haters who always find a way to diminish her accomplishments because they won't have any ground to stand on. Clark has achieved in three years something that most players haven't done in an entire career, and she did it missing nearly an entire season! If she stays healthy, she'll only add to her tally and put it out of reach for good, and it is awe-inspiring what she's accomplished in such a short time.
Her latest achievement validates Iowa and Indiana Fever fans who have been singing her praises all along, and she deserves all the accolades and praise she gets. Her path to stardom hasn't been easy, with the WNBA and its players doing everything they can to knock her down or take her off the path, but putting up five career games of 30-plus points and 10-plus assists is rare in the W, and we all need to give credit where credit is due.
