Caitlin Clark is one of the most recognizable athletes on the planet right now, and whether it's on the court or off, people are always trying to get close to her.

Excluding her constant media presence, Clark keeps her personal life and details about her off-court life very private.

The only public details we have are that she is dating a former men's basketball player, and the son of Iowa's former head coach, Connor McCaffery, who has recently been popping up a lot on social media.

His antics aside, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy recently made some comments about his father Fran McCaffery, leading to Clark cutting him off from all contact.

Dave Portnoy revealed Caitlin Clark blocked him, is not responding

"El Presidente" is a self-proclaimed Caitlin Clark fanatic and avid Indiana Fever fan, seen courtside at multiple Fever games since Clark was drafted.

His relationship with Clark seems to have soured lately, as the Fever superstar has cut off all contact after a recent argument with one of the McCafferys.

On a recent episode of "Barstool Live," Portnoy claimed that Clark has blocked him, and she isn't responding.

Portnoy recently pointed out that it took one year under Ben McCollum for Iowa Men's Basketball to go further than the 17 years under McCaffery. The McCafferys weren't happy with what he said and made their feelings known to Rico Bosco, another Barstool personality.

According to "Awful Announcing," during a recent dinner between Portnoy and Bosco, Bosco handed him the phone to speak to one of the McCaffery brothers, and the conversation didn't go well.

That conversation allegedly led Clark to block Portnoy, who is furious with Bosco and the whole situation.

This whole situation is chock-full of drama, and whether Clark is sticking up for her boyfriend and his family or is simply distancing herself from any unnecessary drama isn't clear, but Clark is very deliberate in everything she does.
