It's been a crazy weekend for future Hawkeye hoops star McKenna Woliczko.

The six-foot-two Iowa commit from San Bruno, California, recently returned to the court for Archbishop Mitty High School after a long injury layoff.

Last year, Woliczko tore her ACL and meniscus and was finally able to make her return as the calendar flipped to January.

Since making her return on January 2, Woliczko has been on a tear, averaging a double-double with 18.0 points and 12.7 rebounds per game.

On Saturday, she faced off against another top 2026 prospect, Kaleena Smith, and the game was an instant classic.

Smith went for a 50 piece, and McKenna dropped 25 points and 15 rebounds as No. 1-ranked Ontario Christian held off the No. 3-ranked Archbishop Monarchs 96-89 in double overtime.

The crazy weekend did not stop there for Woliczko as she continues to add to her prep legacy with another call from Team USA.

Woliczko got the call from Team USA to participate in the 27th Nike Hoops Summit on April 11 in Portland.

This is one more accolade for Woliczko as she continues her brilliant prep career ahead of her time in Iowa City.

After the roster for the Nike Hoops Summit was revealed, Woliczko added another chapter in her storied prep and Team USA career.

She has already earned gold medals as a part of the 2024 FIBA Under-17 and the USA Women's Under-17 National Team.

She also took home All-Star Five as a part of both squads.

Woliczko is ranked as the No. 6 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class, and Jan Jensen and the Iowa Hawkeyes program can't wait to have her in Iowa City.
