Former Hawkeye star turned Iowa Men's Basketball good luck charm Aaron White was in the house for Iowa's upset victory over Nebraska.
White is ranked No. 2 in scoring all-time in Iowa program history with 1,859 total points and is ranked No. 3 in program history in rebounds with 901.
After graduating in 2015, White has spent all 11 years of his pro career in Europe and Asia, making his return to Carver-Hawkeye Arena for the first time since his collegiate playing days.
White was a part of a raucous crowd at Carver to witness Iowa's upset win over Nebraska, and White could not have been more impressed with star guard Bennett Stirtz.

After his brief stop in Iowa City, White joined former WQAD sports director Mike Randazzo on "Off the Air" to discuss his return to Iowa City.
White and Randazzo touched on many things, including his return to Carver, Fran McCaffery's impact, and most importantly, his thoughts on Iowa star Bennett Stirtz.
"You could tell he has a maturity to him -- like a presence to him--- that was impressive" - Aaron white was impressed with @bennett_stirtz both on and OFF the court.

White was thoroughly impressed with Stirtz's skills on and off the court, recalling that when he was at an Iowa practice, Stirtz came up to him and shook his and his kids' hands.
He said that Stirtz did not have to do that, but showed what kind of person he truly is.
White also talked extensively about what he saw from Stirtz on the court, stating that he has a presence about him that was impressive.
White also struggled to find an NBA comp for Stirtz, stating that he does so many things well that it is hard to compare him to anyone in the association right now.
He had nothing but praise for Stirtz, and after Iowa upset Nebraska with him in attendance, Ben McCollum and the rest of the squad will want him at every game going forward.
