The Iowa football team is looking to bounce back after a tough couple of weeks. With Purdue coming to town, here are the game time notes you need to know.

A must-win for the Iowa Football team? I would say yes. If you want to still have a chance to get to Indianapolis for the conference championship game, the Hawkeyes have to win this game versus the Purdue Boilermakers.

The Boilermakers have taken the last two meetings versus the Hawkeyes. Surprisingly, Purdue has a 48-38 advantage in series versus the Iowa football team. Head coach Jeff Brohm and his football team will look to make three in a row.

This game will be aired on ESPN2, which is DirecTV channel 209 and Dish Network channel 140. If you don’t have access to a cable provider you can stream the game on FuboTV, and announcing this game will be Beth Mowins, Anthony Becht, and Rocky Boiman.

Weather for this 11 AM kickoff does not look very good, especially in the first half. There is a 50-70% chance of rain from 8 AM to 1 PM, but it is supposed to clear up after 1 and turn into a nice afternoon so bring your rain poncho if you want to stay dry.

According to Bovada, they have the Iowa football team favored by 17.5 points. The over-under is set at 48.

Purdue is going to be without their star wide receiver Rondale Moore. This is a big loss for Purdue. From an injury perspective, the Iowa football side of things looks pretty healthy, but Purdue does not. I expect to see Iowa switch it up some to stop the Boilermaker’s passing game.

I see Iowa bouncing back in a big way today, and I think the offense will get back on track especially in the run game. The defense will step up to the challenge in stoping Purdue’s passing game, and I don’t think this one will be close. Iowa is the better football team. Enjoy another Saturday of Hawkeye football and go Hawks!
