After a terrible week for Iowa, it was very tempting to put them back down to the last place spot.  However, Iowa did get a win on the road at Illinois.  Still, the week for Iowa was very troubling.  Iowa was never really close in either of its two games this past week.  The Hawkeyes dropped an 80-64 decision at Rutgers on Thursday, and then fell apart in a home loss Saturday against Purdue.  The final score was 84-67 Boilermakers, but Iowa trailed 51-20 at halftime and 78-42 at one point in the second half.

Iowa has two much more manageable games this week.  It starts with a home game against Wisconsin, a game Iowa could easily win.  On Saturday, Iowa goes back on the road to face the upstart Nebraska Cornhuskers.  More than anything, Iowa needs to stay close in these games, as it has trailed by double digits in every single game in conference play so far this season.
