Illinois stays put at last place this week after once again losing both of its games.  Illinois has gotten so unlucky in some of these games.  Earlier this week, Michael Finke had a go-ahead four point play to put the Illini up two over Nebraska with 8 seconds to go.  However, James Palmer Jr. hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to give Illinois another heartbreaking loss.  In addition to that buzzer beater, Illinois has also lost three of its games in overtime.

Illinois will start a stretch with five of six games at home.  It has a home date with Michigan State on Monday night followed by another home game against Indiana.  A tall task for Illinois to get that first win, but being at home will certainly help Illinois’ chances.
