13. Minnesota (8-20, 2-14)
Last Week: 13

For a while, the Minnesota Golden Gophers were competitive in ball games, but just did not have the wins to show for it.  However, they are now starting to win those games.  While the loss at Illinois on Sunday night did snap a two game winning streak, Minnesota does have some bright pieces to look forward to.  Nate Mason has come into his own here in his sophomore season and freshman forward Jordan Murphy looks like a really good player moving forward.

Give credit to Richard Pitino to keep his team fighting despite all the losses early on in Big Ten play.  Minnesota will take on red hot Wisconsin on Tuesday before finishing off its season at Rutgers in Piscataway.
