While it definitely did not end the way Jan Jensen and the squad hoped, Iowa began March with a bang.

Iowa entered the Big Ten Tournament as a two seed and were already locked into a quarterfinal slot.

The Hawkeyes knocked off Illinois and Michigan before a highly anticipated rematch against UCLA in the Big Ten championship game.

Iowa was clearly overmatched in every facet of the game against UCLA, getting run off the floor in a 51-point drubbing at the hands of the Bruins.

The poor ending to the tournament did not take away from Iowa's performance leading up to the title game, and they were rewarded with two players being selected to the All-Tournament Team.

Ava Heiden and Hannah Stuelke earned All-Tournament Team selections

While it was no surprise that Ava Heiden made the All-Tournament Team, it was a little shocking that Hannah Stuelke made it.

Heiden averaged 15.7 points on 66-percent shooting and 3.0 rebounds per game, while Stuelke was clearly impacted by the injuries she sustained over the past few weeks.

Stuelke averaged 8.7 points on 35-percent shooting and 6.0 rebounds per game, and she was clearly not herself.

Her 8.7 points per game in the tournament were below her regular-season average of 13, and she even put up zero points in the title game.

The Hawkeyes need Hannah to step up during the NCAA Tournament, and she will get some much-needed rest before the first round tips off on March 20.

After Iowa's stellar regular season and Big Ten Tournament, they are projected to earn a two seed in the NCAA Tournament, guaranteeing they host the first round in Iowa City.
