After being thrust into duty as a freshman, TJ Hall put the work in to become Iowa's best cover corner in his final season in Iowa City.
Hall saw the field in every game as a true freshman in 2022 and was poised to take the next step as a sophomore.
After six games, Hall suffered a season-ending injury, putting a hold on his development.
He returned the next season, making seven starts but was ineffective, and got torched by Missouri in Iowa's 2024 Music City Bowl loss.
Hall put in the time and effort, starting 11 games, was named an All-Big Ten Third-Team selection, and is one of nine Iowa representatives at the 2026 NFL Combine.
Hall's Combine performance left a lot to be desired
Hall's work ethic was on full display last season, and even though he missed a few games with a shoulder injury, he was Iowa's clear No. 1 cornerback all season.
Despite how well he played last season, his performance at the 2026 NFL Combine left more questions than answers.
TJ Hall is a CB prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 5.97 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 1123 out of 2781 CB from 1987 to 2026.

Relative Athleticism Score (RAS) gave Hall an okay grade in composite speed and agility, including a subpar 4.59-second 40-yard dash.
Hall did not participate in the bench press or the broad jump, saving those for his pro day.
RAS gave Hall a final 5.97 athleticism score out of 10, ranking No. 1,123 of 2,781 defensive back prospects since 1987.
The Combine is just one part of the pre-draft process, and even though Hall's measurements were not as good as he would have hoped, he can rectify that during his pro day.
