In the second half, the offense continued adding points to the board, while the defensive unit made adjustments to hold the Rutgers offense to only seven second-half points.
In the end, Iowa outscored Rutgers 17-7 in the second half, winning its first Big Ten Conference matchup.

The list of events is headlined by the 2025 Homecoming parade on Friday, September 26, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Central Time, and the Homecoming concert at the Pentacrest, featuring Teezo Touchdown, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Central Time.
Each college on campus will also feature a tailgate or a breakfast/lunch on campus ahead of the big game between Iowa and Indiana at 2:30 p.m. Central Time on Saturday afternoon.
