Coaches' kids are usually the best athletes on their team, and Isaiah Oliver is no different. Oliver, the son of former Iowa Basketball legend Dean Oliver, is a star for Waukee Northwest High School in Waukee, Iowa.

Isaiah is a great athlete and participates in track and field, football and basketball for Waukee Northwest.

Oliver is currently participating in track and field and is dominating the competition. He runs the 100-yard dash in 11.36 seconds and hits 23.5 inches in the long jump. After track and field practice, he heads to AAU basketball practice for Iowa United, where he plays for his father.

On3 Sports reporter and Hawkeye Report publisher Tom Kakert met with Oliver to discuss his impending college decision.

Oliver is keeping himself busy this summer. When he is not on the AAU basketball circuit, he plays seven-on-seven or any kind of football to prepare for next season.

Oliver is wrapping up his junior year at Waukee Northwest and will be a part of the 2026 recruiting class. Most college scouts project him to be a wide receiver or nickel cornerback at the next level.

Last season for Waukee Northwest, Oliver tallied 436 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 36 catches.

Oliver has already received offers to play football at Northern Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, North Dakota State, and South Dakota State, but is aiming higher.

He hopes to receive an offer from a bigger college football program, and Iowa has always been at the top of his list.

In June, Oliver will participate in football camps with Iowa, Iowa State, and Northern Illinois to earn recognition and a scholarship from one of those programs.
