The Indiana Fever dominated the Chicago Sky in their first regular-season game at home in Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Fever beat the Sky 93-58, their largest margin of victory in an opening game in franchise history.

Fever superstar Caitlin Clark was phenomenal in this game, dropping a triple-double. She had 20 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds, four blocks, and two steals in a solid all-around performance.

After the win, the Fever began the season 1-0, but the story of the game came in the third quarter of Saturday's game. Chicago Sky's Angel Reese has not been shy about her hatred of Clark, and tensions escalated on Saturday.

In the third quarter, Reese aggressively pursued an offensive rebound, and shoved a Fever player out of the way to secure the rebound. After no foul was called, Clark fouled Reese hard, knocking her to the floor.

Reese immediately got up and went after Clark, receiving a technical foul. Clark was also assessed a flagrant for her foul on Reese.

After the incident, fans went on social media to share their reactions.

Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III weighed in on X, stating that Reese should stop hiding her obvious hatred of Clark. It is starting to escalate beyond basketball and is just hatred.

In her struggle to remain relevant in the media, Reese is still going after Clark and is constantly on her mind. If anyone else fouled her like Clark did, there is no doubt she would not have reacted the way she did.

Another fan reaction suggested that Reese is jealous of Clark, leading to her hatred of her. The reasons are unknown, but the hate is clear.

This fan suggested Clark taught Reese a lesson and there is nothing Reese can do to stop her.

In a more neutral response, Kyle stated he loves the rivalry and it is great for the WNBA. It definitely draws eyeballs and will be a topic of discussion for many years.

The feud between Clark and Reese entered its next chapter on Saturday afternoon, and the fans and media will be watching closely as the stars face off in future contests.

The Fever and the Sky face each other again on Saturday, June 7, at 7:00 p.m. Central Time from the United Center in Chicago in the Commissioner's Cup.
