Injuries have plagued Iowa receiver Seth Anderson during his two-year career with the Hawkeyes. After setting career highs in receptions (42), receiving yards (612), and touchdowns (7) with Charleston Southern, Anderson transferred to Iowa.

During his two seasons with the Hawkeye program, Anderson has suffered multiple injuries and has not been able to recreate the magic he had in 2022 with Charleston Southern.

Anderson has tallied only 256 receiving yards and one touchdown on 16 receptions in two seasons.

Heading into the 2025-2026 season, Anderson is listed as the starting "Z" receiver on the first official depth chart of the season.

Now fully healthy, Anderson is ready to take advantage of his opportunity.

During his portion of the open media availability, which was posted by "The Hawkeye Report," Anderson discussed his health and how he and the receiver group have grown during the offseason.

Anderson stated that they have grown by taking advantage of their opportunities and growing in the offense.

They know they have weapons and they trust the offense.

In a funnier annecdote, he noted they have a pretty explosive group and have some electric dudes.

Anderson and the receivers group are also growing more comfortable with new starting quarterback Mark Gronowski, and they are expecting a lot out of him this season.

If Anderson can stay healthy, he provides a speedy option on the outside, and he can be a veteran presence for the younger players in the group.
