The Hawkeyes' defense could probably use a team like Troy to feel a little better about themselves after giving up 20 points in the second half against Iowa State in Week 2.

Not only is this game so important to get back on track offensively and slightly defensively, but it is important for Iowa momentum-wise to get the win and go into Big Ten play 2-1 instead of 1-2. The Hawkeyes will have a tough three-game stretch once they start Big Ten play with going on the road to play Minnesota, a bye week, then on the road at Ohio State, and home against Washington.
