Iowa has the perfect matchup this weekend with Troy coming to town. Troy is currently one of two Sun Belt teams that don't have a win on the season and has the ninth-ranked defense in the Sun Belt after Week 2.

The Iowa offense desperately needs to get back on track in some way before heading into Big Ten play and right now they are being handed an opportunity to do just that on a silver platter. The Hawkeyes' defense could probably use a team like Troy to feel a little better about themselves after giving up 20 points in the second half against Iowa State in Week 2.

Not only is this game so important to get back on track offensively and slightly defensively, but it is important for Iowa momentum-wise to get the win and go into Big Ten play 2-1 instead of 1-2. The Hawkeyes will have a tough three-game stretch once they start Big Ten play with going on the road to play Minnesota, a bye week, then on the road at Ohio State, and home against Washington.
