The Iowa Hawkeyes have one more chance to head into Big Ten play with some momentum. After a tough loss to Iowa State, a game that the Hawkeyes had the lead in the game until the final five seconds, Iowa needs to step onto the field and make a statement.

It is almost guaranteed that the defense will step up and put on a show after giving up 20 points in the second half to the Cyclones, but the questions again surround the Iowa offense. Can Cade McNamara come out and play the quarterback position effectively? Can the offensive line give him time to throw the ball adn receivers time to run their routes?

Iowa is set to take on Troy today, a team that is 0-2 to start the season. This is the perfect game to get back on track because going into Big Ten play 2-1 is very different than going in 1-2.

Troy vs. Iowa final prediction

This is a game that Iowa will probably walk away with the win, but it needs to be a convincing win for anyone to have confidence in this team going forward. Iowa could be a scary team in the Big Ten if their offense could just keep up their defense.

Troy shouldn't be too much trouble for the Hawkeyes, but the offense needs to make a statement. The running backs are going to go out and be great like always, but this offensive line needs to show they can give McNamara time, give the receivers time, and just do their job.
