Caitlin Clark is not heading to Paris and there are some horrible excuses as to why.

She could use a break

This is probably the most laughable excuse I have seen used for this situation. Clark went straight from the National Championship to the WNBA Draft, to training camp, to preseason, and finally to the regular season. That is a lot, but news flash, that is what athletes are trained to do!

Clark has said time and time again, that basketball is her life and she just wants to play basketball, well that is exactly what she is doing. Going straight from college to the WNBA with almost no break probably helped Clark and made it so that she didn't have to get back in the groove of things, she was already in the groove.

To say that Caitlin Clark could not make the USA Olympic Team because she could use a break is simply a joke and at that point, just say it was because she was not good enough.
