Cameron Brink and Angel Reese aren't on the roster either

Just because one rookie could have made the roster does not mean every rookie gets to make the roster. Let's not forget, there was no doubt that Clark was going to be drafted No. 1 overall, there was no way the card the Indiana Fever handed in was going to have a name that wasn't Caitlin Clark on it.

Yes, Cameron Brink and Angel Reese are talented, in no way can anyone take that away from them, but they are not Clark. They can not shoot the basketball as Clark does. Clark brings a specific set of skills to the table that almost no one else has ever had.

To say that Clark could not make the roster because Brink and Reese didn't put them on the same playing field when in all reality, they are not. There is a reason Clark won Rookie of the Month in her first month in the WNBA. She has put up great numbers as a rookie. If Brink or Reese had put up those numbers, they would have won it, but Brink and Reese are simply not on the same playing field, they don't even play the same position as Clark, so no don't put them in this conversation with Clark.
