National Championship ticket prices: How much does it cost to attend Caitlin Clark's final collegiate game?

In the final outing for Caitlin Clark at the college level, don't be surprised to see more records broken, especially when it comes to ticket prices.

Caitlin Clark is set to play her final game this afternoon as the Iowa Hawkeyes take on the undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks for th 2024 NCAA national championship.

As one of the most popular athletes on the planet, it's no surprise that ticket prices to see the tournament final featuring Clark are astronomical. This year's final trio of games is the best-selling and highest ticket prices in the history of the Final Four, according to StubHub via CNN. In fact, the women's Final Four ticket prices outpaced the men's team as well.

Tickets for the Final Four (including both games) sold for an average of $732 while the men's sold for $710. Clark's presence helped those prices surge.

For her final regular season game against Ohio State at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the record was set for the most expensive tickets to a women's basketball game with the average ticket costing $557.

As it stands, the top six most expensive tickets to see a women's basketball game, proffesional or collegiate, have all featured Clark and the Hawkeyes.

For the National Championship game ticket prices are in the range of $376-$1,512 as of Saturday night according to StubHub. It's possible by tipoff the national championship game will be the most expensive game in women's basketball history.

The Hawkeyes are -6.5 point underdogs against South Carolina. The Gamecocks are undefeated at 37-0, averaging 85.4 points per game and holding opponents to just 56.1. Of course, the Hawkeyes have the highest scoring offense in women's basketball, averaging 91.4, though they give up 71.5 per game.

The women's national championship will tip off at 2 p.m. CST on ABC, ESPN and ESPN+.
