If you have seen one thing about Caitlin Clark in the last few days, then you have seen a million things about the young basketball player just trying to play basketball. If you have been living under a rock and don't know about what happened between Clark and the Chicago Sky's Chennedy Carter, here is what happened.
In the game between the Sky and the Indiana Fever in the WNBA Commissioner Cup, after Carter made a basket in the third quarter, she then went and body-checked Clark before the ball was even inbounded. A common foul was called and the play was not reviewable since it was an away-from-the-ball call.
After the Fever beat the Sky 71-70, the next day, the WNBA decided to officially raise the foul to a Flagrant 1 to Carter.
Ever since the foul, the media has gone crazy debating whether Clark is getting treated too harshly by veterans or it is just regular tough play on a rookie who is new to the league?
Well, we are not the talking media heads, so we go to X, formally known as Twitter, to see how people feel about the situation and it seems as though everyone feels like she is getting treated too harshly.

Do you think they are consulting with each other about ways to play tougher on her? Probably not, this is the WNBA, it's a tough league, and every rookie has to deal with this.
Okay, this IS HATING on Caitlin Clark. Face guarding, extremely aggressive play and the occasional hard foul can be describe as competitiveness. Going out of your way to call her out of her name and body check her to the floor without the ball is HATING. https://t.co/osFk320wMp pic.twitter.com/cRtiSnDVkm

Clark is a great player, and the play was uncalled for, but Carter does have a history of this behavior, so why are we so surprised by this? I wouldn't call it hate, it was the heat of a moment and she has been assigned the proper foul, it is time to move on.
Chennedy Carter out there proving everyone point about the women targeting Caitlin Clark. They do it to themselves.

The cheap shots on Caitlin Clark are an embarrassment for the WNBA. This player should be suspended.

Clark is the only reason Iβm even watching a WNBA game right now. What a joke. pic.twitter.com/iUagyHYgLK
Is Caitlin Clark the reason a lot more people are watching the WNBA? Probably. It could also be why players are playing a little tougher on her. Carter has gotten her 15 minutes of fame from this incident, but now people might be more inclined to watch the Sky because of all of this.
What is wrong with all of these WNBA players. Theyβve turned into Draymond Green level maniacs out here. You could make a compilation at this point and itβs only ten games into Caitlin Clarkβs career pic.twitter.com/QTzJ5DeMTW

Isn't that what all the women are out here trying to do? They just want to play basketball. Clark has not talked about it because, in a sense, she knows this is just how it is and she just wants to play basketball. Maybe we should just let them.
