Iowa fans show Hailey Van Lith no mercy on social media

Iowa is heading back to the Final Four for the second year in a row after defeating the LSU Tigers 94-87 and a lot of it is thanks to Caitlin Clark scoring 41 points and hitting nine three, an NCAA Tournament record. LSU had a rotation of guards on Clark, but Louisville transfer Hailey Van Lith carried the load guarding Clark majority of the night.

Of course when one player makes nine threes fans are going to notice and notice they did. Iowa fans have hit a new level of trolling on X (formally known as Twitter) letting Van Lith know their thoughts on her defense on the night.

Van Lith was going up against an unstoppable force in Clark and she did in fact get "cooked" all night long. Was Van Lith's defense that bad or is Clark just that good, because it is probably the latter.
