College Football 25: The one conference to move Iowa to in your Dynasty Mode

College football fans across the country are preparing to get their first Dynasty started in EA Sports College Football 25. Surely, there are many Iowa Hawkeye fans who will jump straight in with their favorite program.

There's no denying that the Hawkeyes are one of the most fun programs to use in a brand-new dynasty file for those looking to use an established program with room to grow. With an elite defense in place, rebuilding the offense into a contender will be a fun challenge.

The bigger challenge will be wading through the new Big Ten. Making it out of the season with a strong enough record to appear in the Big Ten Championship game or earn a playoff berth will be no easy task with the likes of Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, USC and Penn State jockeying for position at the top of the conference.

But this is your dynasty file, and whether you are looking to customize it as much as you'd like or tone down the difficulty just a tad, you could always move the Hawkeyes to another conference.

Naturally, this isn't the most popular decision. However, it could give you just as many fun matchups, strengthen rivalries, and make the race to the College Football Playoffs look drastically different.

The one conference that makes sense for Iowa

If you're building custom conferences in College Football 25, the best conference to send your Hawkeyes to is without a doubt the Big 12.

The conference looks drastically different with newcomers like Arizona and Utah, but it also has some recent additions like UCF and Cincinnati to keep spice up your schedule.

Of course, the Cy-Hawk Game becomes even more important, as a win over the Cyclones could be the win to send the Hawkeyes to the Big 12 Championship Game. It'd make sense to also bring along Nebraska in the conference shakeup to preserve that rivalry.

Choose between Wisconsin and Minnesota to play annually, and Iowa has a strong trio of rivalries to build from. Kansas, Kansas State or a Texas program could grow into the next heated rivalry for the Hawkeyes.

There's no doubt about it: winning the Big 12 will be easier. Utah, Arizona and Kansas State will likely be the biggest competitors on the path to securing an automatic bid in the College Football Playoffs.

When will EA Sports College Football 25 be released?

EA Sports College Football 25 will officially be released on July 19, 2024, for the Xbox One Series X|S and PlayStation 5. If you pre-ordered the Deluxe or MVP Edition, you can play three days early beginning at 3 p.m. Central Time on Monda, July 15.

The game is now available for pre-order with a Standard Edition for $69.99, a Deluxe Edition for $99.99, and an MVP edition for $149.99 which bundles the Deluxe Edition with EA Sports Madden NFL 25 Deluxe Edition, which will be released in August.
