The Iowa Hawkeyes are set to face off against their in-state rival, the Iowa State Cyclones in the annual Cy-Hawk Showdown. This is Iowa's most important non-conference game this season as it is the toughest non-conference game this season.

It is important for Iowa to win this game as it will help boost their resume and help them get into the College Football Playoff at the end of the season if they end up with two losses in conference play. The Hawkeyes have the luck of playing at home in this rivalry game, but it will still be a tough test.

This is the first game of the season for head coach Kirk Feretntz coming off a self-imposed one-game suspension for recruiting violations with quarterback Cade McNamara. The Hawkeyes are hoping to see the team that stepped on the field in the second half against Illinois State this week against Iowa State.

The announcers for this game will help build the electric atmosphere of a rivalry game. So here are the announcers that will call the Cy-Hawk Showdown this year.
