College football in Week 6 was everything fans have been hoping for all season long. College football fans love to see upsets, upon upsets, upon upsets, and in Week 6 they got just that.

The No. 1 team in the country was taken down by a team that was once 0-60 against teams in the top 5. Four teams in the top 10 ended up losing, three of them to unranked opponents. Better yet, three of those four teams were in the SEC as well, and if there is one thing Big Ten football fans can be happy about it, it is SEC teams losing.

So, after a wild week of college football, here is my latest College Football Playoff rankings prediction.

For the second week in a row, we have a new No. 1 in the rankings, but for the first time all season long, the team that is ranked No. 1 is not an SEC team. With Georgia losing to Alabama last week and Alabama losing to Vanderbilt this week, Ohio State gets to jump into the No. 1 spot. Texas moves into the SEC champion spot, but with only one win over a ranked opponent, they aren't quite ready to be No. 1 in these rankings yet.

Alabama and Tennessee dropped heavily in the rankings after getting beat by unranked teams on the road. Teams in the Big Ten, such as Oregon and Penn State, who are benefitting from the fact that teams ahead of them lost, which in turn moves them up in the rankings.

Notre Dame has officially been brought into the rankings again, but if Alabama's loss to Vanderbilt is going to possibly keep them out of the playoff, then no one can forget about Notre Dame's loss to Northern Illinois.

Boise State also makes their return to rankings as the highest-ranked Group of Five team since UNLV lost their first game of the season to Syracuse this weekend.
