NCAA staff writer Ericka Brockish makes her prediction on who will find themselves in the College Football Playoff after Week 1.

Week 1 is in the books and the feeling of college football being back feels so good.

After Week 0 gave fans a taste of college football, Week 1 came in with a full slate of 96 games and gave fans everything they could have dreamed of. Georgia showed the rest of the college football world that they are the No. 1 team in the country for a reason, Drew Allar showed Penn State and the rest of the country he could be the quarterback everyone thought he could be, and Miami stepped onto the scene to make a statement.

Some games were closer than they should have been and other games were blowouts that no one saw coming. College football is back in full form and it's not going anywhere until 2025.

The College Football Playoff is the biggest thing every team is playing towards this season, especially with the 12-team expansion. The highest Power Four conference champions will get automatic bids and byes in the first round, the highest-ranked Group of Five Champion will also get an automatic bid, and finally, the next seven highest-ranked teams will make it in.

So here is my prediction of how the playoff will look at the end of the season after Week 1.

Georgia came out and dominated No. 14 Clemson showing that they are truly the best team in the country and no one can argue that. Ohio State debuted yet another new quarterback with Kansas State transfer Will Howard, who had a bit of a slow start, but settled in nicely.

The newest face to these rankings is Miami, who went into the The Swamp in Gainesville and put a beat down on the Florida Gators. After Florida State lost to Georgia Tech in Week 0, the ACC became wide open and Miami stepped in and now looks like the front-runner in the conference.

Kansas State and Utah swapped places as the Utes looked a little cleaner than the Wildcats in their Week 1 matchup. Boise State also looked great and remains in the mix as the Group of Five champion.
